Junior 2D artist

Job Title: Game Artist
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Salary: R10,000 - R15,000 per month Full Time, R5000 - R8000 per month Part-Time
Duration: 2 months (with potential for extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Unity Game Artist with strong 2D skills to join our team for a 2-month contract. As a Unity Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating 2D art (Including Pixel Art), collaborating with our design and art teams, and ensuring the overall visual quality of our games.

Responsibilities:
Create assets for mobile games
Create collateral for marketing
Collaborate with designers and developers to bring game concepts to life

Requirements:

Experience in Unity 2D & 3D
Experience with digital art software such as Krita, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Unreal Engine and Blueprints
Experience working on mobile games
Experience with hypercasual games
Experience in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, etc.
